Liturgy of the Word for children & Children's Mass
Liturgy of the Word for children takes place during the 9:30 AM Sunday Mass three times a month. Since children in Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade are in classes during that time, the 3rd through 5th graders will be invited to dismiss to the classroom with Miss Diane, before the readings of the day take place so they can reflect and do activities based on those readings at their appropriate level. They will return to the parents when the homily is concluded and will have children's bulletins to take home. Our first gathering of the year will be Sunday, September 15th.
During the Children's Liturgy Mass, all the children are invited up to the front of the church during the homily that is geared for kids of all ages with Fr. Gregg or Fr. Ted. This 9:30 Mass takes place one Sunday a month. Dates for these Masses are as follows:
October 6th, November 3rd, December 1st, January 5th (Epiphany), February 2nd, March 1st, and May 3rd (May Crowning).

NURSERY NEWS
Our nursery accommodates children between the ages of 1 to 4 for those parents attending the Sunday 9:30 AM Masses. We always invite new volunteers in to help out and meet some of the other younger parents in our community!
(For the safety of our children, our volunteers and employees have successfully completed the mandatory Safe Environment Program (SEP). This program consists of Background Screening (Including finger prints) and Safe Environment Program Training as provided by the Diocese of St. Petersburg.)
